Incident involving Surron Bike

On Tuesday 20th of January around 17:00 hours officers from the Alfreton SNT were on patrol in the BROOKHILL LANE area of PINXTON when 2 SURRON bikes caught their attention.

The riders manner of driving was questionable and they also lacked safety equipment or lighting.

The Officers attempted to speak with the several masked individuals who were riding the bikes but unsurprisingly they did not want to stick around! In fact, they were so keen not to speak to us that two of them abandoned the bike and ran into a local business compound while the other bike rode off.

After an area search with thanks to Derbyshire Dog section a male was discovered hiding in the rear of another industrial unit. After being detained for a search, the masked individual turned out to be a juvenile. 

The juvenile was taken home and the bike was seized due to no insurance, further enquires are ongoing into this matter.
